Are you Human?
This is a simple question and a simple answer, but with profound insight into your belief system. What belief system do you carry within you? Is it one of iniquity, or is it one of Truth? If you believe anything else about yourself but Gen 1:26, then you have bought into an iniquitous belief system.
If this is you, then you still believe you are human. You might be one of those who are actually IN Christ as a born again spirit, but you still believe your are Adam and therefore your mind is bound to the ways of the natural fallen and dead Adam.
If this is you then you have not yet been circumcised in your consciousness and you are still "defiled by woman" (Rev 14:4). You still carry around the sin consciousness of the Whore of Babylon as a memory of who you once were and have not reckoned long enough the fact that in Christ, the "old is gone and the new has come" (2Cor 5:17).
You Are The Last Adam
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
You were born into this earth as a "living soul", and you were born again into Christ a "quickened spirit". This is plumbline truth. This is straight Scripture that must be reckoned with.
Why are you the 'last Adam'? Because that is who Christ is, and you are a born-again, blood bought member of that race of people (Rev 5:10; Eph 2:12).
What is the 'last Adam'? He is a "quickening spirit". That means you are now, as a Christ being, made to be a "quickening spirit". And what does this new spirit look like? This spirit looks like "power, love, and a sound mind":
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
After being wrapped in "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost", the spirit becomes "the quickened one" (Eph 2:5; Col 2:13; 1Pet 3:18; Rom 6:4; Rom 8:11). This newly re-oiled and re-freshened spirit becomes a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind, or as you might have learned, a spirit of 'healed affections'.
It is a wonderful state of existence when you wake up one day and realize that you indeed are this new spirit. Allow yourself to accept His emotions as your own. Yes, you can receive righteousness, peace, and joy as your new and permanent emotions, and you can let go of the emotions of the 'old Adam'. Let that 'old man' fall off of your emotions and thoughts and begin to think anew with great hope and expectation for your future. You are no longer part of that corrupted and death sentenced race of beings called humans! You are a born again son of God in the Son and a ressurected image of God in The Image of God, who, of course, is Christ:
2Co 4:4 ...Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature...
You should all just take a few minutes and go through each of these scriptures I have listed in this lesson. These are powerful meditations that should help you align your belief system to your inheritance of "resurrection life" now. Right now. Not tomorrow. Resurrection life is available now.
